The PRM Story

December 28th, 2009 at 6:53 pm

22 years ago I retired from dancing at San Francisco Ballet to start all over.  I am not sure if this was the first time or the second time I thought about what I will do now.  I started really dancing at 13, although I still played hockey feverishly untill 15.  I was then in Duluth Minnesota, my home.  There are many stories that happened between that time and the next, but now on to the next.

22 years ago was a good time to retire, still young, the wheel of experiences had rolled quite large.

I married Anita Paciotti, a beautiful ballerina with SFBallet,  she is still there, as those who attend the ballet surely know.

Anita and I  had 2 sons, Nick and Dylan. For many years ballet, construction, and raising our boys became our life. It is amazing how much energy we as parents have. Our children bring  new worlds to ours as much as we bring new worlds to theirs.

My boys brought me soccer, and I became a soccer coach, not for my boys, but for at risk children in the Mission.  I eventually became the president of the Mission Youth Soccer League, as well as a coach, and served my community as a volunteer for over 14 years.

My boys have gone on to college now, both scholarshiped at San Jose State for their soccer talent, and I must say it is a pleasure for Anita and I to go and watch our boys play finally on the same team.

I started a new company this year, Solar Technologies Solutions Group, and I am inspired to help bring solar into our community in a way that is financially feasable, a way that will make sense to all of us.  After all, conservation will never outpace population, but if we can achieve solar independance as individuals, and make money off this investment at the same time, then it is worth considering.

So I have never blogged before, and I certainly don't want to be boring on this, my very first blog.  There are thousands of stories to tell in between each line written.  For now, I start here, the now,...this next.... 22 years later.
